"When I reminded myself that all this was the work of the hand and soul of one man, with no mechanical help, it seemed to me that men could be as effective as god in tasks other than destruction."
My name's Jac. In October I'm leaving with the Peace Corps to teach construction in Tonga. During Spring 2010 I was an intern with the USGS and SCA tracking the population health of Gopherus agassizii, the American Southwest's desert tortoise. 2008-2009 I served with Americorps at Habitat for Humanity, Philadelphia and fell in love with the city. After graduating from Cornell University in 2006 with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and Film Production and Design I escaped to China for a year where I taught English in Xi'an to students 2-15 years old.
